Griechischer Bauernsalat I Choriatiki I Klassiker der griechischen Küche

Ein Klassiker der griechischen Küche, wozu ich euch aber bislang noch kein Rezept gezeigt habe. Den griechischen Bauernsalat gibt es bei uns mehrmals in der Woche. Er gehört einfach fest zu unserem Speiseplan. 🙂

Während der Fastenzeit, oder wenn man sich vegan ernährt, dann kann man den Feta prima weglassen oder auch austauschen. Ich ersetze ihn sehr gerne durch Mandelfeta, dieser harmoniert ausgezeichnet dazu.

Griechischer Bauernsalat – χωριάτικη σαλάτα (vegetarisch/ vegan möglich)

Für eine Schüssel.
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
6 EL Olivenöl
2 EL Zitronensaft
etwas Meersalz
2-3 Prisen Pfeffer
Petersilie, gehackt
1 TL Oregano, getrocknet
1 Knoblauchzehe
Handvoll aromatische Tomaten
1/2-1 Salatgurke
1 Spitzpaprika (vorzugsweise grün)
1 rote Zwiebel
Kalamata-Oliven
200 g Feta(Ersatz)

Zubereitung:

Gemüse waschen, vorbereiten und klein schneiden.
Olivenöl, Meersalz, Pfeffer, Oregano, Zitronensaft, gepresste Knoblauchzehe und die gehackte Petersilie miteinander verrühren. Das Gemüse unterrühren. Den Feta in Würfel schneiden und vorsichtig unterheben.
Der Salat wird bis zum Servieren in den Kühlschrank gestellt.

Ihr könnt ihn zu gegrilltem Fleisch/Gemüse oder auch zu Pita reichen. Auch am nächsten Tag schmeckt er noch großartig.
