Ein paar Tage im Spreewald I Lübbenau – Cottbus – Slawenburg

Ganz gegen den wahrscheinlichen Erwartungen von vielen haben wir einen Teil unseres Sommerurlaubes nicht in Griechenland oder Rumänien verbracht. Wir haben uns für ein paar Tage im Spreewald entschieden, dort in einer Ferienwohnung gewohnt und einiges erlebt.

Ich habe zwar für YouTube mitgefilmt, möchte dennoch mit euch einige Fotos teilen. Einfach, weil man sie sich in aller Ruhe anschauen und durchstöbern kann und sie auch schöner hervorgehoben werden.

Ich bin keine gute Reiseführerin und habe deshalb nicht sehr viele Hintergrundinformationen für euch. Die, die ich habe, habe ich euch ins Video gepackt. 🙂

Ein paar Tage im Spreewald I Lübbenau – Cottbus – Slawenburg

Als erstes mussten wir in den Spreewald kommen. Wir haben uns dafür entschieden mit dem Flugzeug nach Berlin zu fliegen und dann weiter mit dem Zug. Man hätte auch anders hinkommen können, aber wir wollten gerne nach Berlin. Nach dem Spreewald haben wir auf unserem Rückweg auch noch einige Tage in Berlin verbracht. Da nichts spannendes passiert ist blieb allerdings die Kamera mal aus und es wurde ganz entspannt mit der Familie in Tegel am Wasser etwas Zeit verbracht.

Gegen Abend sind wir endlich in der Ferienwohnung angekommen und konnten für die nächsten Tage alles planen. Ohne Auto ist es nicht immer so einfach, aber machbar.

Für alle von euch, die lieber Videos anschauen, füge ich das Video ein. Fotos anschauen schadet dennoch nicht und macht Freude. 🙂 Es sind auch, im Gegensatz zu sonst ein paar von mir dabei. Immerhin hält man so Erinnerungen für die Ewigkeit fest.

 

Lübbenau – Kahnfahrt

Was wäre der Spreewald nur ohne Kahnfahrten? Ein Ziel, welches viele antreten. Ich finde Kahnfahrten sehr entspannend, meine letzte ist sicher fast 20 Jahre her gewesen. Für Kinder ist es auch ein Erlebnis, jedenfalls war es für meine spannend. Im Wasser konnten wir Fische sichten, Seerosen erblicken, den Wind im Haar spüren, einige andere Tiere sehen und am Land Enten füttern, welche sogar aus der Hand fressen.

Zur Stärkung in der Kahnfahrtpause gab es Hefeplins. Die sind wie Palatschinke, nur dicker durch die Hefe. Man bekommt sie mit Butter bestrichen und Zucker bestreut. Damit es noch süßer wird gibt es dazu wahlweise Apfelmus oder Nutella. Schmecken gut und sie werden garantiert mal nachzubereitet.

Nach der Kahnfahrt ging es noch etwas durch die Lübbenauer Altstadt. Wir mussten sehr schmunzeln, denn an fast jeder Ecke werden Gewürzgurken verkauft. Sogar im Kiosk. 😀

Cottbus

Am nächsten Tag ging es nach Cottbus. Warum gerade Cottbus? Keine Ahnung. Wir wollten im Umkreis bleiben, sonst hätten wir uns vielleicht für Dresden oder sogar Polen entschieden -ist ja alles problemlos mit der Bahn zu erreichen, wenn sie pünktlich abfährt.

Spremberger Turm

Wir hatten scheinbar das Glück fast alleine oben auf dem Turm zu sein. Er ist nicht sehr hoch, aber hoch genug um auf Cottbus schauen zu können. Oben herrschte ein angenehmer Wind und ich kam bei den ganzen Stufen leicht aus der Puste. Ich bin halt nicht so sportlich… 😀

Altmarkt

Weiter ging es zum Altmarkt. Dort haben wir uns ein kleines Lokal gesucht, denn ich hatte ziemlich hunger. Ich habe schlecht gefrühstückt und brauchte etwas herzhaftes. Veganes Essen haben wir nirgendwo gesichtet, aber ein paar vegetarische Speisen haben sich auf der Tageskarte verirrt gehabt.

Deshalb gab es Käsespätzle mit Salat, wo ich es gerade noch geschafft habe der Bedienung klar zu machen, dass ich keinen Speck esse und benötige. Auch wenn die Portion nicht groß erscheinen mag, ich war mehr als gesättigt und musste erstmal die Kalorien runtershoppen.

Blechen Carré

Da bot sich natürlich das Blechen Carré an. Scheint in Cottbus mehr als bekannt zu sein, es war nämlich gut besucht. Ich musste erstmal zu TK Maxx, ich war Jahre nicht mehr drin und im Urlaub konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen. Im Video habe ich euch sogar gezeigt, was ich eingekauft habe.

In diese Schuhe habe ich mich verliebt, musste sie allerdings zurücklassen. 🙁 Laut meinen Mann haben sie nicht zu mir gepasst. Wie man als Frau halt so ist, wenn man etwas nicht bekommen kann, dann versteckt man sie im falschen Schuhregal. 😀 So bekommt auch niemand anderes sie oder muss eine Weile suchen. Bzw. muss die Mitarbeiterin sie fluchend zurückräumen…Sorry dafür!

Staatstheater

Nachdem es dem Geldbeutel an den Kragen ging, wurde sich mehr von Cottbus angeschaut. Das Staatstheater durfte da natürlich nicht fehlen. Auch rundherum war es sehr ansprechend anzusehen und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Auch ein Ringlotten-Baum wurde gesichtet und ein wenig geerntet. Die Ringlotten waren noch sehr, sehr sauer, aber auf ihrer Art schmackhaft. Ich mag sie lieber etwas reifer, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Danach liefen wir noch planlos durch Cottbus und schauten uns etwas um. Cottbus hat einige interessante Gebäude und Museen, für die man aber definitiv mehr Zeit einplanen sollte.

Kurz vor der Abreise gab es noch ein paar Waffeln mit heißen Kirschen. Diese waren aber nichts besonders…halt Waffeln. Etwas zu trocken und keine Raffinesse, aber vielleicht bin ich auch einfach zu verwöhnt, weil ich sie sonst immer selber zubereite.

Slawenburg in Raddusch 

Ich wusste nicht mal, dass es eine Slawenburg gab/gibt. Aber man lernt immer dazu. Sie ist keine Burg, wie man sie sonst kennt. Design und Verwendung sind vollkommen anders. In Raddusch, mitten im Nichts, fanden wir diese tolle Burg. Wir haben uns einen Rufbus zuvor bestellt und wurde hingefahren. Und natürlich auch wieder abgeholt.

Als Vogelmama hat man es wirklich schwer! Die kleinen Vögelchen hatten einen unermüdeten Appetit gehabt. Aber süß waren sie ja schon…und laut!

Was ganz nett war, vor allem wenn man als Familie die Burg besucht hat, waren ein großer Spielplatz und viele Grünflächen. Man konnte sich gut hinsetzen und einfach die Burg und dessen Umgebung bestaunen.

Klettern sollte gelernt sein. Ich kann es. -Nicht! 😀

Zum Schluss gab es für jeden noch einen Eisbecher. Außer für meinen Mann, dem reicht ein großes Glas Wasser. Im Slawenburg Restaurant ist es nicht ganz preiswert, aber das kennt man schließlich schon von anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten-Restaurants auch.
