Nach den Zuckerdiamanten habe ich, auf Wunsch von euch, das Tüfteln nicht aufgegeben und mich an etwas neuen gewagt.
Funkelnde, essbare Pailletten
Die Pailletten sind wunderbar vielseitig einsetzbar, wichtig ist nur, dass sie nicht mit Wasser in Berührung kommen, denn dann lösen sie sich auf 🙂
Haltbar sind sie gut 8 Monate, ich bewahre meine Pailletten in einem unbenutzten Gewürzglas auf.
Was benötigt wird:
♥3 Blätter Gelatine
♥100ml Wasser, heißes oder dünner Fruchtsaft, erwärmt
♥Lebensmittelfabe (Gel oder Paste)
Außerdem:
♥Backpapier
♥Spritzbeutel mit kleiner Spritztülle oder Einwegspritze ohne Nadel
♥Schüssel
Zubereitung:
Die Gelatineblätter für 5 Minuten in kaltes Wasser einweichen. Die weich gewordene Gelatine aus dem Wasser holen, etwas ausquetschen und in eine Schüssel geben. Heißes Wasser/Fruchtsaft darüber gießen und etwas Lebensmittelfarbe hinzugeben. Gut umrühren, bis die Gelatine sich verflüssigt hat.
Das Backpapier auf eine feste Unterlage, z. B. einem Backblech, legen. Die flüssige Gelatine in einem Spritzbeutel/eine Einwegspritze füllen und kleine Tropfen auf das Backpapier topfen lassen.
Beim Arbeiten mit dem Spritzbeutel ihn leicht schräg halten und immer wieder die Lochtülle mit dem Finger zudrücken. Sonst tropf die Gelatine nicht auf eurem Backpapier, sondern läuft aus, bis der Beutel leer ist. Am besten tropft die Gelatine, wenn sie nicht mehr so ganz flüssig und etwas abgekühlt ist.
Über Nacht trocknen lassen!
Wenn die Pailletten trocken sind lassen sie sich ganz einfach lösen, entweder mit den Fingern oder mit einem, nicht so scharfen, Messer.

Mit isomalt wäre das einfacher
Aber nicht so gut durchbeißbar 😀 Isomalt sehr heiß und trocknet nicht so platt aus, da würde ich nicht gerne Tropfen für Tropfen damit neben meine Kinder stehen wollen, die mir immer gerne beim Experimentieren über die Schulter schauen.
Aber jeder darf es gerne so machen wie es ihm beliebt 🙂

Nach ein paar Tropfen hat man die Übung raus. Und wenn die Tropfen trocknen, werden sie ganz platt.
(Ich gebe immer die genauen Arbeitsschritte an, wenn nicht etwas anderes dabeisteht, dann bin ich so vorgegangen wie beschrieben und erklärt.)
