Selbstgemachte Lángos – mit Sauerrahm und Käse

Lángos, ein Snack aus der ungarischen Küche, schmeckt unglaublich gut. Auch in Österreich, Rumänien, Serbien und in der Ukraine ist Lángos mittlerweile bekannt.

Lángos kann man ganz nach Lust und Laune belegen und servieren. Ganz egal ob süß, deftig, vegetarisch, vegan oder mit Fleisch. Ich mag meinen am liebsten vegetarisch und zeige euch deswegen mal, wie ich ihn zubereite.

Lángos -mit Sauerrahm und Käse (vegetarisch)

Für 8 Stück.
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
1 TL braunen Rohrzucker
200 g Milch/Pflanzendrink
150 g Wasser
1 Germwürfel
Prisen (Meer-)Salz
500 g Mehl

Zum Belegen:
Knoblauchöl
Sauerrahm/ veganer Rahm
Geriebener Käse/ veganer Reibekäse

Außerdem:
Topf/ tiefe Pfanne
Erhitzbares Öl

Zubereitung:

Rohrzucker, Milch/Pflanzendrink und Wasser miteinander verrühren. Den Germwürfel hinzubröseln und alles für 10 Minuten stehen lassen.

Mehl und Salz in einer Schüssel vermischen. Das Germgemisch hinzurühren und einkneten, bis ein geschmeidiger Teig entstanden ist. Den Teig mit einem feuchten Küchentuch abdecken und für 30-40 Minuten ruhen lassen.

Das Teigvolumen hat sich nun verdoppelt. Den teig auf einer bemehlten Arbeitsfläche in 8 Stücke teilen. Jedes Stück zu einer Kugel formen.

Ausreichend Öl in einen Topf oder eine tiefe Pfanne geben und dieses erhitzen.
Die Teigkugeln länglich zu Fladen ziehen und nacheinander im Öl ausbacken, bis sie von beiden Seiten goldbraun sind.

Anschließend auf einen Küchenpapier vom Öl abtropfen lassen.

Noch warm die Lángos belegen. Dafür sie erst mit Knoblauchöl bestreichen, dann etwas Sauerrahm und geriebenen Käse hinauf geben.

Noch warm das Lángos genießen, aber auch kalt könnte man es verspeisen.
Der Belag kann beliebig abgeändert und variiert werden.
