Panierter Kohlrabi ohne Ei

Kennt ihr Kohlrabischnitzel? Genannt wird er auch panierter Kohlrabi. Meiner kommt ganz ohne Ei aus, was ihn definitiv nicht weniger gut schmecken lässt.

Ihr könnt ihn zwischendurch als Snack essen oder dazu, wie bei einem richtigen Schnitzel, Kartoffelgerichte wie Kartoffelsalat servieren. Auch eine Zitronenscheibe darf nicht dazu fehlen.

Panierter Kohlrabi (vegan)

Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
1 Kohlrabi
50-70 g Semmelbrösel
3 EL Mehl
Prise (Meer-)Salz
2 Prisen Pfeffer
5 EL Wasser

Außerdem:
Neutrales Öl
Pfanne

Zubereitung:

Den Kohlrabi von den Blättern befreien und schälen. In Scheiben schneiden, die ungefähr 0,5-1 cm dick sein sollten.

Die Semmelbrösel auf einen Teller geben.
Auf einen anderen Teller Mehl, Salz, Pfeffer und Wasser miteinander verrühren.

Die Kohlrabischeiben erst in dem Mehlgemisch wenden, dann mit Semmelbrösel umhüllen.

In eine Pfanne Öl geben und dieses erhitzen. Die Kohlrabischeiben von beiden Seiten goldbraun ausbacken. Ungefähr 2 Minuten werden pro Seite benötigt.

Den panierten Kohlrabi kurz auf etwas Küchenpapier abtropfen lassen und noch warm servieren.
