Reis aus der Bowl – mit Tilda Basmati

Bowl-Food liegt momentan total im Trend. Zuhause, unterwegs oder im Büro, man kann überall aus der Bowl (Schüssel) essen. Am Dienstag hat uns Tilda gezeigt, wie es ganz unkompliziert und geschmackvoll geht.

Ich kannte die Marke Tilda vorher noch nicht, bin aber ein großer Reisfan und vor allem der Basmati Reis hat es mir ganz besonders angetan. Basmati bedeutet auf Hindi ,,duftend“, was den Reis und sein Aroma schon ausgezeichnet beschreibt. Er ist ein langkörniger Reis, der besonders gerne in der orientalischen Küche Verwendung findet.

Österreich dagegen scheint noch etwas zurückhaltend zu sein, wenn es um Reis geht. 2015/2016 wurde ein ungefährer Reisverbrauch, pro Person, von circa 4,5 Kilo ermitteln. Wenn man sich dagegen die asiatische Statistik anschaut ist es wirklich wenig, diese kommen nämlich auf 120 bis 180 Kilo. Wir essen zuhause gerne Reis, mindestens einmal in der Woche und kommen sicher im Jahr pro Kopf auf unsere 10-12 Kilo.

Damit ihr vielleicht auch mehr auf den Reisgeschmack kommt, zeige ich euch einfach mal was wir auf dem Workshop/Event zubereitet haben.

Ganz zu Beginn gab es einen Reismuffin für uns. Ich Schlafmütze habe ganz hungrig in den Muffin gebissen und vergessen ein Foto zu machen. 😀 Ich werde sie aber sicher nachbacken und dann ein Foto hier einfügen.

Als Frühstück-Bowl hatten wir eine süße und eine herzhafte zur Wahl. Die Süße war eine Bircher Superfood Bowl gewesen, ich habe mich allerdings für die kräftigere Alternative entschieden. Ich bin generell kein süßer Frühstücksmensch, da hat mich etwas herzhaftes gleich angelacht.

Reissuppe, asiatisch

Sieht sie nicht wunderschön aus? Enthalten sind Reis, Avocado, Räuchertofu, Jungzwiebel und Koriander. Nicht zu vergessen das Zweierlei von Sprossen. Etwas Limettensaft hat ausgezeichnet dazu gepasst und einen Frischekick gegeben.

Die Mittags-Bowl traf mich mitten in mein Herz. Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch von der Zutatenzusammenstellung, aber ich wurde mehr als überrascht. Da sie mir so gut gefällt werde ich das Rezept mit euch teilen. 🙂

Tilda Chili mit Wassermelone und Tomaten

Für 1 große oder 2 kleine Portionen.
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
250 g Wassermelone
3 Tomaten
Koriander
Sesamöl
Sojasauce
1 Limette
Salt
Pfeffer
Minze
Chiliöl
1 Pck. Tilda Sweet Chili & Lime

Außerdem:
Mikrowelle oder Topf mit etwas Öl
Bowl/ Schüssel
Messer & Brett

Zubereitung:
Wassermelone klein würfeln und Kerne entfernen. Tomaten klein schneiden, wenn man möchte kann man sie vorher von der Schale befreien. Koriander und Minze fein hacken. Alles miteinander in einer Schüssel verrühren. Mit Sesamöl, Chilisauce, Sojasauce und Limette abschmecken. Den Reis in der Mikrowelle oder für alle anderen, die wie ich keine besitzen, den Reis in einem Topf mit etwas Öl erwärmen. Durch das Öl bleibt nichts am Topfboden kleben. (Tipp vom Tilda-Profi).

Reis unter die anderen Zutaten mengen und in der Bowl servieren.

Zwischendurch wurden wir natürlich auch mit Drinks versorgt. Oder, wenn man wie ich liebe Bloggerfreundinnen an der Seite hatte, von ihnen etwas verwöhnt. 🙂 Ich finde ja persönlich, dass Minze sich in so gut wie jedem Drink gut macht. daher habe ich mich etwas in der Event-Küche bedient. 😀

Die Abendessen-Bowl war von vielen der Favorit des Abends. Man konnte sie wahlweise mit Huhn oder Tofu herstellen. Es war wirklich ein sehr gelungenes Gericht, von welchem ich auch einen Nachschlag nicht abgelehnt hätte.

Tilda Kokos Limetten mit Huhn /oder wahlweise Tofu

Dieses Gericht bestand aus Kokos-Limetten Reis, Gurke, Huhn/Tofu, Tahin, Jungzwiebel, Sojasauce, Olivenöl, Weißwein- oder Reisessig. Dekoriert habe ich mit einer essbaren Blüte, einer Limettenscheibe, etwas Petersilie, Jungzwiebel und den rote Rüben Sprossen.

Meinen Mann habe ich schon versprochen es demnächst nachzukochen. Da wir von Tilda eine Bowl und etwas Reis mit nach Hause bekommen haben, steht dem nichts mehr im Weg.

Die liebe Profi-Köchin Marie-Louise Schweizer, ich kannte sie schon von einem vorigen Event, stand uns zur Seite und hat mit uns gekocht. Es war sehr schön und angenehm sie mal wieder zu sehen. Generell waren wir eine gut gelaunte und freundliche Gruppe von Bloggern. Nach dem Kochen und Essen saßen wir noch ein Weilchen gemütlich zusammen zum Plaudern und Austauschen.

Mich würde es sehr freuen, wenn ich (und Tilda) euch mit diesen Gerichten den Basmati-Reis etwas näher bringen konnten. Lasst mich gerne wissen, wenn ihr etwas nachgekocht habt oder wie ihr euren Reis am liebsten zubereitet.
