Mein Tag auf der Buch Wien 14

Ich lebe nun seit drei Jahren in Wien, lange war ich nicht mehr auf einer Messe gewesen, ich kann mich gar nicht mehr an meinen letzten Messebesuch erinnern, daher freute ich mich umso mehr auf die Buch Wien 14 zu gehen und viele Eindrücke gewinnen zu dürfen. Voller positiver Spannung und Neugier stand ich Samstag gegen neun Uhr auf, die Kinder haben es gut mit mir gemeint und mich ausschlafen lassen.

Eigentlich hatte ich mir fest vorgenommen am Abend vor der Messe etwas zum Anziehen rauszusuchen, damit ich nicht Stunden zwischen Spiegel, Schrank und Badezimmer hin und her laufe. Natürlich wurde dieses Konzept mit den Gedankengängen ,,Ich bin doch keine Beauty-Bloggerin, ich werde schon schnell etwas geeignetes finden.ˮ über Bord geworfen, was nicht ganz clever war. 😉 Nun stand ich da…den halben Schrank entleert, fünf Hosen schon anprobiert, meinen Mann halb in den Wahnsinn getrieben und den Schmollen nah. Ich beschloss mich erstmal um meine Haare zu kümmern, denn das geht bei mir wirklich schnell. In der Zwischenzeit durfte mein Mann sich meinen Kleiderschrank widmen, er kam immer wieder an um mir einzelne Stücke schmackhaft zu reden, aber es half nichts, ich fand an allem etwas zu meckern.

Irgendwann gegen elf Uhr stand ich angezogen, mit gepackter Tasche an der Tür vor dem Schuhregal. Diesmal war die Entscheidung sehr schnell getroffen, ich werde viel laufen, muss lange auf meinen Füßen stehen, da muss es etwas bequemes sein. Ich schnurr meine Turn(schuh)stiefel zu, verabschiedete mich von meinen Liebsten und ging los zur U-Bahn.
An der U-Bahn angekommen wurde ich während den Fahrscheine lösen von ,,Ole-Ole-Ole.ˮ rufen und wilden getrommel überrascht. Im ersten Moment wusste ich nicht was um mich herum geschieht, ich habe kurz drüber nachgedacht ob ich ein wichtiges Ereignis verpasst habe, bis mir eingefallen ist, dass heute wohl eine Fußballspiel stattfinden muss. Ich huschte schnell an den Fußballfans vorbei und hatte Glück, denn die U-Bahn stand schon zur Abfahrt bereit.

Nach einer 40-minütigen Fahrt war ich auch schon an der Messe angekommen, die gleich neben der U-Bahn Stadtion Krieau liegt. Ich besorgte mir rasch meine Eintrittskarte, war so aufgeregt, dass ich vergaß meine Garderobe abzugeben und schlenderte durch die BUCHWIENHandlung und an den vielen Ständen vorbei. Als erstes viel mir gleich das herzliche Lachen der Kinder auf, die an der Kinderbühne von Birgit Lehner bespaßt wurden. Leider hatte ich keinen Plan um zu schauen wo sich die Stände befinden und bin etwas hin und her geirrt, bis mir eine nette Dame den Weg zur Showbühne zeigte. Endlich war ich da!

Auf dem Programm stand ,,Das vegetarische Ländermatchˮ. Leider kam ich zu spät, wodurch ich weder mitbekommen habe wer was gekocht hat noch was erzählt wurde, aber dafür kam ich passend zur Siegerehrung. Österreich, Deutschland und Italien kochten gegeneinander und das Publikum durfte mit Kastanien über ihren Sieger abstimmen. Es war eine sehr knappe Abstimmung, den dritten Platz mit 15 Kastanien besetze Italien, den zweiten Platz mit 16 Kastanien ging an Deutschland und der Gewinner, mit 17 Kastanien, also wirklich ganz knapp, wurde Österreich.

Da für mich die Showküche erst wieder ab 15 Uhr interessant gewesen wäre, nutze ich meine freie Zeit und las ein paar Bücher, trank eine warme Schokolade und hielt ausschau nach interessanten Ereignissen.

 

 

 

Natürlich gab es auch Hörbücher. 🙂

Um 14 Uhr begab ich mich zur Lebensart-Bühne, wo Benedikt Felsinger, auch genannt der Kräuterpfarrer, über sein neues Buch ,,Für Leib und Seeleˮ  berichtete. In diesem Buch geht es um 77 Kräuter, die alle etwas ganz besonders können, nämlich  Beschwerden lindern. Herr Benedikt, wie man ihn richtig ansprechen darf, ist anders als meine Erwartungen eines Pfarrers meinten, nämlich sehr witzig. Es war eine unterhaltsame Vorstellung, in die er uns auch sein Rezept für einen heißen Apfel-Nelkentrunk, ohne Alkohol, verriet.

Und gleich danach war es wieder Zeit für die Showbühne. Meinrad Neunkirchner, Autor und Haubenkoch, und Katharina Seiser, Autorin und Journalistin, stellten das Buch ,,Einer für allesˮ vor. Wie der Buchtitel vielleicht erahnen lässt, geht es um Rezepte, die alle in einem Topf zubereitet werden. Wer dachte, dass die One-Pot-Pasta nicht mehr zu toppen sei, der wird von diesen Buch so überrascht sein, dass er vor lauter Staunen den Mund nicht mehr zu bekommen wird. 😀 Auch Julian Riess, der Herausgeber des Buches, dürfte nicht fehlen. Vielen von euch wird der Name ,,Riessˮ etwas sagen, denn das Emaillegeschirr und die Kochtöpfe sind legendär. Wer nun keine Ahnung hat, der sollte schnellstens sein Kochtopf/Geschirr-Wissen auffrischen und sich auf der Riess-Homepage umschauen. 🙂

Wie man sieht haben alle brav aufgegessen und nicht damit am nächsten Tag die Sonne scheint, sondern weil es so lecker war. 😉 Ich könnte übrigens noch eine Portion essen… 😀
 
 
Ein tolles Gewinnspiel wurde veranstaltet. Jemand hatte die Chance einen Aroma-Topf zu gewinnen, leider habe ich nicht gewonnen, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass die Gewinnerin sehr viel Freude mit den Topf haben wird. 
 
 
Anschließend wurde die Showbühne für Sophia hergerichtet und ich nahm meine Chance wahr und machte ein Foto mit Katharina Seiser und Meinrad Neunkirchner. ♥♥♥
 
 
Sophia Hoffmann, die vor kurzem das Buch ,,Sophias vegane Weltˮ in viele Bücherregalen als Bereicherung der veganen Esskultur gebracht hat, war mir auf Anhieb sympathisch. Sie lebt nun schon seit einiger Zeit vegan, früher vegetarisch und konnte uns viel über sich und ihre Lebensweise vermitteln. Sie hat einen eignen Blog, auf den sich ganz viele leckere Rezepte tummeln.

Nach einem sehr netten und langen Gespräch machten Sophia und ich noch ein Erinnerungsfoto. Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir uns mal wiedersehen. ♥♥♥
 
Als letzter Programmpunkt stand auf meiner Liste die Verkostung der besten österreichischen Weine, mit Viktor Siegl. Da ich nicht so viel Alkohol trinke und ihn nicht so gut vertrage, habe ich nur immer ein Schlückchen probiert. Mein Motto bleibt wohl weiterhin: ,,Ich koche lieber mit Wein, als das ich ihn trinke!ˮ

Es gab nicht nur Wein, sondern auch reichlich Wasser. 🙂
 
Da um 18 Uhr die Buch Wien 14 schließt, machte ich mich wieder auf den Weg zur BUCHWIENHandlung, die sich kurz vor dem Ein-/Ausgang befindet. Dort konnte man nicht nur alle Bücher, die auf der Messe vorgestellt wurden, sondern noch viele mehr kaufen. Es waren so viele Verlage anwesend, dass ich es gar nicht schaffen würde alle aufzuzählen, aber einige sind mir im Gedächtnis, und auf meinem Papier, geblieben. Darunter zum Beispiel: Ackermann Kunstverlag, AT Verlag, Christian Brandstätter Verlag, Cadmos Verlag, Cosmos Verlag, Dressler Verlag, Einband Verlag, Europa Verlag Zürich, frechverlag, Griot Verlag, Haupt Verlag, Dr. Oetker, pichler verlag, av Buch, kneipp Verlag, Dorling Kindersley Verlag…und viele weitere.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Die Bücherauswahl war gigantisch. Am liebsten hätte ich mich unter dem Tisch versteckt und heimlich die ganze Nacht irgendwelche Bücher durchgelesen. 😀
Aber das wäre sicher nicht unbemerkt geblieben. Für mich habe ich keine Bücher gekauft, aber für meine Kinder, denn schon bald ist Weihnachten. Natürlich mussten es Kochbücher sein, denn diese schauen sie sich sehr gerne an und die Mama hat auch noch Freude damit. 😉
 

 

 
Ich hoffe ihr konntet euch ein Bild von der Buch Wien 14 machen. 
Ich bin immer noch von der Messe begeistert, den netten Personen, die ich kennenlernen durfte, den Geruch der frisch gedruckten Bücher (den liebe ich) und der tollen, entspannten Atmosphäre. 
Nächstes Jahr werde ich mit großer Sicherheit wieder auf der Buch Wien anwesend sein. ♥
