Immer, wenn wir große Tomaten haben, müssten diese gefüllt werden. Gefüllte Tomaten sind in der Zubereitung sehr einfach, schmecken aromatisch-gut und die Zutaten hat man immer im Haus.

Ich mache die gefüllten Tomaten wie meine Oma, die Wärme im Ofen wird optimal genutzt und es werden gleich Kartoffeln mitgebacken. Schmeckt großartig zusammen. Wer möchte, darf dann noch ein Tzatziki dazureichen.

Gefüllte Tomaten | orthodoxes Fastenrezept

Für 4-6 Portionen.

Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:

  • 8-10 große Tomaten
  • 1 Zwiebel
  • 2 Knoblauchzehen
  • 1-2 EL Olivenöl
  • Viel Petersilie und Dille
  • 3-4 EL Reis
  • 4 große Kartoffeln
  • 100ml Wasser
  • 2 Prisen Meersalz
  • Prise Pfeffer

Außerdem:

Zubereitung:

Die Tomaten waschen und den Deckel abschneiden. Das Fruchtfleisch auslöffeln und in eine Schüssel geben.

Mit einem Pürierstab das Fruchtfleisch pürieren und ein bisschen davon in einem Glas an die Seite stellen. Zum restlichen Tomatenfruchtfleisch das Olivenöl, Meersalz, Pfeffer, Reis und die Kräuter geben. Zwiebeln und Knoblauchzehen kleinschneiden und ebenfalls hinzugeben. Kurz umrühren und in die Tomaten füllen. Den Tomatendeckel aufsetzen und diese in die Auflaufform platzieren.

Den Ofen auf 180°C Ober- und Unzerhitze vorheizen.

Die Kartoffeln schälen und in Spalten schneiden. Danach in der Auflaufform, zwischen den Tomaten verteilen. Das aufgehobene pürierte Fruchtfleisch mit etwas Wasser strecken, gerne noch würzen, und über die Kartoffelspalten verteilen.

Alles für 35-40 Minuten in den vorgeheizten Ofen geben.

Servieren und es sich schmecken lassen.
