Joya Yoga Convention 2015

Könnte ein Sonntag schöner starten, als mit einem Spaziergang im Park, begleitet von der wunderbaren Sonne? Die einen brauchen fürs Sonntagsglück ein ausgewogenes Frühstück, die anderen brauchen ihren Sonntagssport. Warum sollte man nicht beides miteinander verbinden?

Ich habe heute die Joya Yoga Convention besucht. Der Gastgeber des Events war Joya, im wunderbaren Wiener Burggarten trafen sich Yogabeigeisterte und welche, die sich mal anschauen wollten wie eine Yoga-Session abläuft.
Ob ich in der Zukunft Yoga machen werde und was ich erlebt habe berichte ich euch mit Fotos und ein paar Sätzen. ♥

Joya Yoga Convention 2015

Der Andrang für die Convention war groß. Als ich kurz nach 9 Uhr aus der Straßenbahn stieg, fiel mir gleich die Menschenmenge auf, die im Burggarten an dem Event teilnehmen wollte. Ich hätte mit weniger Andrang gerechnet, da es offiziell erst um 10 Uhr los gegangen wäre und ich nicht dachte, dass Yoga so viele Mensche an einen Sonntagmorgen zusammenführen wird.

Meine erste Station war ein Frühstück im Palmenhaus. Mit Blogger, Journalisten und Mitarbeitern von Joya traf ich mich zum gemeinsamen Schlemmen, Fragen loszuwerden und den Ablauf des Tages zu besprechen. Ich finde es immer wieder schön neue Gesichter kennenzulernen. Manchmal lernt man jemanden kennen, mit den man schon ewig Kontakt durch Mailschreibereien hat, aber es gibt auch Menschen, die einen schon nach zwei Sekunden total sympathisch sind. Ich bin sehr gesellig und freue mich immer über die Möglichkeit sich mit Gleichgesinnte austauschen zu können.

Wir wurden mit allerhand Joya-Produkten verwöhnt. Es gab viel frisches Obst und Gemüse. Tolles Gebäck, vegane Leckereien und auch Fleischesser kamen nicht zu kurz. Für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei.

Schon um kurz nach 10Uhr wurde die 1000. Besuchermarke geknackt. Für die ersten 1000 Besucher gab es gratis eine Joya-Yogamatte. Viele Besucher hatten allerdings auch ihre eigene Yogamatte dabei oder haben die Übungen auf der Wiese ohne Matte mitgemacht.

Das Programm sah wie folgt aus:
10:00: Große Yoga-Eröffnungssession
10:30: Infos+Programmvorstellung
ab 11:00: Yoga Sessions im 1/2 –Stundentakt
15:00: Große Yoga-Schlusssession
 
Auch das Radio war anwesend, der Sender 88.6 versorgte uns mit toller Musik.
Frisches Quellwasser von freshwater, Joya-Produkte zum Verkosten und ein EsspressoMobil-Kaffee mit Produkten von Joya stand den Besuchern jederzeit zur Verfügung.
Auch für die kleinen Besucher wurde gesorgt. Während Mami und Papi Yoga machten, dürften die Kleinen spielen und wurden liebevoll umsorgt. Aber es gab auch ganz viele Kinder, die es sich nicht nehmen ließen selbst aktiv zu werden und auch die Übungen mitmachten.
Ich muss ehrlich sein, bislang habe ich keine Erfahrungen mit Yoga gemacht. Natürlich ist es mir ein Begriff, aber ich konnte mich noch nicht aufrappen es einmal zu versuchen. Ich habe die liebe Andrea kennengelernt, die Yogalehrerin ist und auch einen Foodblog führt. Ihr Blog heißt surfing the kitchen, dort berichtet sie über alles was sie gerne isst. Sie war so lieb und hat es mir erlaubt, dass ich sie fotografieren darf. Sie konnte mir alle Fragen rund ums Thema Yoga beantworten und ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass ich mal an einer ihrer Yogastunden teilnehmen werde.
Es waren auch Yoga-Studios vor Ort.
Wer auf den Geschmack gekommen war, der konnte sich gleich erkundigen wann und wo Yogastunden stattfinden.

Wer shoppen wollte, der durfte dies gerne machen. Das Label nice to meet me, welches Yogamode designt und herstellt, hatte einen Stand und verkaufte dort zu Sondernpreisen schöne Yogatops, Hosen und vieles weitere. Auch für Männer.
Ihre Kleidung ist ökonomisch, nachhaltig und vegan.
Auch über das vegane Leben konnte man sich bei der VGÖ (Vegane Gesellschaft Österreich) informieren.
Und ein weiteres Highlight bei der Hitze war das Eis von Veganista. Das Eis wird ohne künstliche Zusatzstoffe, ohne Farbstoffe, ohne Geschmacksverstärker und nur mit rein natürlichen Zutaten hergestellt.
Es war ein sehr schöner Tag mit netten Menschen, leckerem Essen und viel Freude.
Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die Joya Yoga Convention 2016, vielleicht seid ihr dann auch vor Ort? 🙂 Nächstes Jahr packe ich auf jeden Fall meine Yogahose ein und mache ich die Übungen mit.
