Über Tofu kann man stundenlang diskutieren. Oder könnte man. Die einen lieben ihn, die anderen hassen ihn. Für mich war Tofu früher seh uninteressant. Er hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Doch in den letzten Jahren hat sich einiges getan.

Zum Einen, weil der Tofu sich stark verbessert hat. In Geschmack, Konsistenz und Erhältlichkeit. Und zum Anderen, weil man immer mehr Zubereitungsweisen findet. Meine möchte ich euch heute vorstellen.
Mit ein paar Tipps und Tricks wird euer Tofu richtig lecker! Ihr müsst zwar etwas Zeit einplanen, aber es lohnt sich.
Für 1 Block Tofu.
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
- 1 Block Tofu
- 3 EL Sojasauce
- 1-2 EL Sesamöl
- 1 EL Chilipaste
- 1/2-1 TL Knoblauchgranulat
- 1 EL Limettensaft
- 1 EL Agavendicksaft
- Etwas Meersalz
- Pfeffer
Außerdem:
Zubereitung:
Den Tofu einfrieren. Egal ob 1 Tag, 1 Woche oder 3 Monate.
Anschließend auf dem TK Fach nehmen und auftauen lassen. Ich lasse ihn sanft im Kühlschrank auftauen, noch komplett verpackt.
Ihn aus der Verpackung nehmen und gut ausdrücken. Ich empfehle eine Tofu Presse, aber zwischen zwei Brettchen oder Teller wäre es auch möglich. 1 Stunde solltet ihr dafür einplanen.
Die Marinade zubereiten, aus den oben genannten Zutaten. (Bis auf den Tofu natürlich) Den Tofu in beliebige Stücke schneiden und in die Marinade geben. Gut durchziehen lassen, mindestens 30 Minuten – maximal 12-24 Stunden.
Ihr könnt den Tofu nun aus der Marinade nehmen und ihn braten, grillen, backen oder in die Heißluftfritteuse geben.

Mögt ihr die asiatische Küche? Dann kann ich euch dieses schmackhafte Rezept empfehlen. Es ist eine Gemüsepfanne mit Pak Choi. Übrigens, dazu passt der Tofu auch hervorragend! 🙂 Ein Dessert sollte ebenfalls nicht fehlen. Ich liebe gebackene Bananen. Mit ganz viel Agavendicksaft (als Ersatz zum Honig).
