Tomatensalat mit Manouri I Σαλάτα με ντομάτα και μάνουρι

Tomatensalat…nicht weniger aber definitiv mehr. Aromatische Gerichte kommen sehr auf die Zutaten und nicht auf den Schwierigkeitsgrad der Zubereitung an. Man kann es sich auch komplizierter machen, aber warum, wenn es einfach auch so gut schmecken kann?

Anders als man vielleicht erwartet bereite ich meinen Salat nicht mit Feta zu. Kann man natürlich, aber ich greife lieber zu einem Manouri (Μάνουρι). Er ist ein mittelfester griechische Frischkäse, welcher aus Schafs- und Ziegenmilch hergestellt wird. Der Fettanteil schwankt je nach Marke zwischen 60-80 %. Er hat einen wunderbaren Schmelz, ist nicht zu salzig und passt prima in einen Salat. Solltet ihr ihn nicht kennen, dann probiert ihn mal unbedingt aus.

Tomatensalat mit Manouri (vegetarisch)
Σαλάτα με ντομάτα και μάνουρι

Als Beilage für 2-4 Portionen.
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
500 g Tomaten
3 Jungzwiebeln
3 EL Olivenöl
2 EL Essig
(Meer-)Salz
Pfeffer
etwas Petersilie
100-150 g Manouri

Zubereitung:

Tomaten waschen, Strunk entfernen und klein schneiden.
Jungzwiebeln säubern und in Ringe schneiden.

Tomatenstücke und Jungzwiebeln in eine Schüssel geben. Öl, Essig, Salz und Pfeffer hinzugeben.
Petersilie klein schneiden oder gefrorene verwenden und diese auch dazu geben.
Alles miteinander verrühren.

Den Manouri über den Salat bröseln und gegebenenfalls untermengen.
Kühl stellen oder gleich servieren.
