Der süße Duft gebrannter Mandeln

Bei uns ist es Tradition am Abend vor Heiligabend den Christkind etwas leckeres hinzustellen.
Geschenke sind schwer, da braucht das Christkind zwischenzeitlich eine Stärkung, um geschwind alle Geschenke verteilen zu können. Die Kinder haben immer große Freude daran sich etwas auszudenken und bei der Herstellung zu naschen. Doch das Schönste für sie ist, wenn sie am nächsten Morgen den leeren Teller vorfinden. Erst wird nach dem Teller geschaut, dann werden die Geschenke bestaunt.

2012 gab es Mango-Kiwi Waffeln.
2013 gab es Kekse mit Schokostückchen.
Und in diesem Jahr gab es gebrannte Mandeln, mit etwas Chili und Vanille abgeschmeckt.
Sie waren so lecker, dass ich gleich an euch denken musste. Dieses Rezept passt so prima auf meinen Blog, da die gebrannten Mandeln rasch herzustellen, aber dennoch durch die zugefügten Aromen etwas ganz besonderes sind.

Gebrannte Mandeln mit Chili und Vanille

Für zwei Portionen
Folgende Zutaten werden benötigt:
♥200g Zucker
♥1 Pck. Vanillezucker
♥1 EL Zimt
♥Mark einer halben Vanilleschote oder ♥1/2 TL aus der Vanillemühle
♥ein paar Chiliflocken
♥100ml Wasser
♥200g Mandeln
Außerdem:
♥Backpapier
Chiliflocken, Zimt, Vanillemark(Pulver), Vanillezucker, Zucker und Wasser in eine Pfanne geben und unter Rühren zum Kochen bringen. Anschließend die Mandeln hinzugeben und weiter rühren…

Erst glänzen die Mandeln wundervoll, doch schnell werden sie matt und die Zuckermischung wirkt trocken. Nun heißt es immer weiterrühren, bis die Mischung sich wieder verflüssigt und um die Mandeln legt.

Und nun bloß nicht aufhören zu rühren, sonst verbrennen euch die Mandeln ganz schnell.
Anschließend, wenn euch der Glanz gefällt, werden sie auf ein Backpapier geschüttet, um etwas abzukühlen.
Das war auch schon alles. 🙂
Sie schmecken selbstgemacht noch viel besser als auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt.
Wenn ihr gebrannte Mandeln liebt, solltet ihr dieses Rezept unbedingt einmal (oder auch mehrmals) ausprobieren. ♥
