Ich liebe Spinat seit meiner Kindheit. Am liebsten in Teig gebacken. Es schmeckt einfach so gut. Und sind totale Kindheitserinnerungen. Wie dieser Spinatstrudel-Kranz.

Der Spinatstrudel-Kranz ist in nur 25 Minuten servierbereit. Kann warm oder kalt gegessen werden. Auch Saucen können dazu gereicht.

Wenn ihr mehr Zeit habt, macht den Strudelteig unbedingt selber. Soll es schnell gehen, verwendet einen fertigen oder Blätterteig.

Für einen Spinatstrudel-Kranz.

Folgende Zutaten:

Zum Bestreichen:

  • 30ml Mandelmilch mit 1 EL Öl
  • Sesam

Zubereitung:

Zwiebel und Knoblauchzehen schälen und kleinschneiden. Mit Öl in einer Pfanne andünsten. Den Spinat hinzugeben.

Sobald der Spinat aufgetaut ist die Gewürze, Hefeflocken und den Frischkäseersatz unterrühren. Vom Herd nehmen.

Den Ofen auf 180°C vorheizen.

Den Teig ausrollen. Auf der oberen Hälfte die Spinatfüllung verteilen. Unterhalb mit einem Messer streifenförmig einschneiden. Den Teig von oben nach unten einrollen. Auf ein mit Backpapier belegtes Backblech heben und zu einem Kreis formen.

Mit dem Mandelmilch-Öl-Gemisch bestreichen und mit Sesam bestreuen. Für 12-16 Minuten backen. Je nach Teig muss noch etwas Backzeit verlängert werden.

Sobald eine schöne Backfarbe erhalten wurde, darf der aus dem Ofen und serviert werden.
